March - NEW AT THE SDC JEAN-TALON!

The Annual General Meeting of the Société de Développement Commercial de la rue Jean Talon in Saint-Leonard (SDC Jean-Talon) was held on march 28, 2012.

As a prelude to the general meeting, a training on the new bank notes was provided by the Bank of Canada and the SPVM.  This free training was highly appreciated and valued by the business owners and professionals in attendance.

Following the training, the annual general meeting of the SDC began with a total of 31 interested and enthusiastic members. It allowed them a better understanding of the financial statements of the SDC, presented by the appointed auditor. The activities of 2011 and those planned for 2012 were presented by the current director, François Morin, and an activity report was handed out to everyone at the assembly.

Voting of three new administrators was performed, each appointed for 2-year terms. Members and staff of the SDC Jean-Talon would like to congratulate:

- Mr. Paul Micheletti (Ici Sport, La source du sport)

- Mr. Mauro Barone (Complex Le Baron)

- Mr. Carmine Venditti (Allstate Canada).

The evening was a success for the SDC, due to the good turnout of members and a friendly atmosphere.
